EA Play subscribers can also claim a number of different packs to help them along as well. The first item that FC 25 players can claim is an XP Boost for the game's first season of FC Ultimate Team. The XP Boost is available from now until November 12 and should help the players that grab it start earning their level 30 rewards much faster this season as players try to get some of FC 25 Coins highest-rated players for their Ultimate Teams.
The other two perks that FC players can claim are more cosmetic in nature, just in case players were getting a bit bored with the stadiums and kits already featured in FC 25. The first pack is available until November 12 gives players two pieces of branded Adidas Firebird Apparel as well as 4.500 Volta coins to help players customize their street players however they want. The second pack is the FC Ultimate Team Storm Stadium Set. This pack is available until October 31 and includes a member-exclusive Epic Storm Kit, Crest, Stadium Theme, and Tifo.
Electronic Arts has officially pulled a player from FC 25 due to several charges against them. The suspended Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy has been removed from the game as he awaits trial.
EA removed Benjamin Mendy from both the Manchester City and the French national team squads in FC 25. The defenders' card has also been suspended from appearing in FC Ultimate Team packs and Ultimate Draft as he awaits trial. Some players who managed to get their hands on this player card will seemingly be able to add Mendy to their roster, but several FC 25 fans are also trying to trade him through the transfer market.
FC 25 officially releases in October, but a 10-hour trial launched on September 25 for EA Play subscribers. Because of this, FC 25 players were able to acquire Benjamin Mendy's Ultimate Team card prior to his removal from the soccer game. All progress made during this trial will carry over to the full release of EA Sports FC Coins so players who received his card may not have access to the player until his trial is over.
